Information We Collect
Depending on your use of the platform, we may collect:

We do not collect sensitive categories of data (e.g., health, race, religion) unless voluntarily published in campaign content.

Payment Processing and Financial Data
Payments are processed by third‑party payment providers, including Stripe. Payment card or bank credentials are collected and processed by those providers under their terms and privacy policies. Kindred Micro does not store full credit card information (including full card number or CVC) and does not store full bank account credentials. This sensitive payment information is stored directly by our payment processor. All payment processing complies with PCI DSS standards. We may retain limited payment metadata required for security, reconciliation, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
How We Share Information
We never sell or rent donor data. Personal information is shared only with trusted service providers under strict contractual obligations to support hosting, analytics, communications, support operations, fraud detection, and payment processing. Sharing may also occur where required by law, court order, regulatory request, business transfer, or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
Campaign Visibility and Public Content
Content you choose to publish in campaigns or public profiles may be visible to other users and the public. Donors’ full payment details are never visible to campaign organizers. Please avoid posting sensitive personal information in public fields. Account and campaign visibility controls may be available for specific features.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for essential platform operation, security, analytics, and service improvement. We do not use cookies for behavioral advertising. You may control certain cookies through browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may limit functionality.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain required records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. For example, donation records may be retained for up to 7 years for accounting and compliance purposes.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and industry‑standard safeguards to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored.
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection to certain processing of your personal information. You may also manage communication preferences, including marketing opt‑outs, while still receiving essential service notices. Children’s Privacy
Kindred Micro is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
